Entrepreneurship in our family history goes back more than 150 years. Once successful as a trading company for carpets and wallpaper, GALLION is now dedicated to consulting.
1862
Wilhelm Gallion founded the company in the center of Stuttgart on September 16. The wallpaper, which was not yet widely used at the time, required cigars as a common secondary product to attract ladder to the store.
1949
Dr. Fritz Glaser-Gallion, great-grandson of the founder, takes over the management of the company after his death. The company grows to 1,500 employees over the next few decades.
1982
After 120 years of existence, GALLION suffers the typical fate of many family businesses: In the 5th generation, the company had to be sold to a competitor.
2024
Dr. Philipp Glaser-Gallion founds his own business after years of experience in management consulting. With GALLION Consult, he focuses on smart growth for future-proof companies.
